Now a days we are interested in faster processing and hence faster CPUs, and as the speed of CPU is increasing, more transistors are required and hence more power is drawn. This is in-turn increasing the heat being generated from CPUs. To reduce this heat being dissipated into environment and faster cooling of CPU, there is new technology called as liquid cooling. Many organizations are working into this direction of using heat sinks via liquid cooling technology. This will increase the energy efficiencies, result in a a reduced carbon footprint and lead to environmental sustainability.
